Paragon Global Flight Support Pull Out All The Stops for VIP Iraqi Presidential Flight

Paragon Global Flight Support in Gatwick is accustomed to providing trip planning, permit, fuel and handling facilitation services to all kinds of clients. For example, the massive post-tsunami relief operation saw us providing support to a considerable number of aircraft in the region, from business jets to massive freighters.

In addition, Paragon Global is no stranger to complex VIP flights, having supported the Eros Ramazzotti South American Tour as passengers and freight winged their way from one show venue to another in a DC8 combi aircraft.

Let’s not forget the amazing Olympic Torch Relay – two Boeing 747 jumbo jets that flew around the world carrying the Olympic Flame. The journey lasted 45 days in all, taking in 34 cities in 26 countries on all of the world’s continents.

So, when a client approached Paragon Global with just three days’ notice (and yes, of course it was over a weekend!), to acquire permits and make VIP arrangements for a flight for Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, what might have been a difficult assignment for others was just another day for the dedicated 24-hour Paragon Global team.

The Boeing 727-VIP with 34 seats flew the President from Amman–Brasilia–Heathrow–Amman over 5 days in May. All the required arrangements were made and the journey was a success.
